WORD!

I teamed up with writer David Chapple to produce a 45 second video titled Eight Word Stories as part of WORD! - an initiative of Adelaide City Council and the Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT). The video was shown, from February 2017, on the Target wall in Rundle Street as part of the East End Moving Image project. 

Eight Word Stories presents five "micro narratives" - very short collections of (eight) words, that convey a complete story in the utmost of brevity. They explore the bare essence of a story needed to prompt a human response. 

Using custom software, randomness is added to the letters, creating subtle dynamics and unpredictability in language and meaning. 

For this collaboration, David wrote the stories and I animated them.
